Overcome the limits

Pushing the limits: this isn't exactly a new concept. The phrase "pushing the limits" represents growth and improvement. It means reaching new heights, conquering new territories, discovering the unexplored.
I always say that the limit is only a reminder: it serves to remember us until we arrived, but it does not tell us anything about where we can arrive.
Yet it happens many times that we prevent ourselves to arrive where we would like because we accept the limits that others impose us. How many times do we let ourselves be conditioned by the so -called experts in a sector? How many times do we set limits why do we unconditionally accept someone's opinion?
I want to tell you about the story of a character perhaps little known, but which on this topic represents the perfect example.
"Your only limits are those you create in the mind or that you let yourself be imposed by others!" - Og Mandino
Exceed limits such as Clarence Demar
This is Clarence DeMar, an American marathon runner who lived between the 19th and 20th centuries. It was 1911, and Clarence was preparing to participate in the prestigious Boston Marathon. Before the race, he received numerous warnings from the experts of the time. They all essentially said the same thing: "Play your cards right, because a person, in the course of his life, can only tackle one, or at most two, marathons."
Clarence in 1911 won that marathon, but not only. He did not listen to the experts, and in doing so, in the following years, of Boston Marathon he won 7.
"The limits are often only illusions." - Michael Jordan
What would happen if Clarence Demar had listened to those warnings? And you? What is that thing you would like to do and that you have not yet done because some expert convinced you that it cannot be done?
Or maybe that that is feasible, but not from you ... stop listening to experts and do as a Clarence demar.
Decide where you want to go, better prepare, give your best and enjoy the trip!
