Why coaching right now

Why coaching - Max Spini

Why coaching? Why rely on a coach right now?

Bill Gates, one of the richest men in the world, claims that everyone should have a coach by them. Stephen Curry, one of the strongest basketball players of all time, says that the strongest push to get to excellence has had it from individual coaching.

There are many reasons why everyone should take a coaching path, I have chosen 5.

Clarity

Only for this reason it is worth having a coach. Having greater clarity in one's life leads you to the next level. A good coach is prepared to ask you quality questions, questions that you could hardly ask yourself. This allows you to better understand yourself and consequently have more clarity on what you want and where you want to go . Clarity brings awareness with it, allows us to be more effective in defining what we want and practical actions to achieve it.

Consistency

Your coach helps you to remember what is really important for you. It is important to know where we are and where we want to go, and it is equally important to remind us of these things. Your coach repeats you continuously the fundamental concepts that emerge during the coaching course. In this way you can remain "always on the piece", your focus remains on what really matters for you . Considering your goals consistently is the right way to achieve the results you want.

High standards

If you want to improve and have a more satisfying life you have to raise your standards. The frenetic rhythms of our life often take us off the road, it is easy to undergo the effect of the thousand distractions to which we are subjected every day. Your coach helps you to stay concentrated on what is important for you , and not only: it helps you do better because he knows you can do better. Your coach helps you to raise the bar, but he doesn't do it for you, it supports you so that you yourself define your standards adequately. It helps you to see doors and windows where you first saw only walls, pushes you to make your unexpressed potential.

Objective feedback

During the coaching path we understand more deeply ourselves, we understand what is important for us and we define where we want to arrive. Then we define and put into practice the actions to be carried out to obtain the results we want. Having objective feedback is essential. Your coach helps you understand what are the things you are doing and work. It helps you understand how you can improve the things you're already doing well. It helps you find out if what you do is aligned with your personality, with your values, with your goals. The accurate feedback of your coach, who will never judge you, allow you to be more effective and efficient in what you do .

Responsibility

We all know very well that there are things we should do, yet we don't do them. We know very well that we should eat healthy, rest well and do physical activity. But we do not always do it, even if we are aware that we should do all this for our good. In the same way we define a series of actions to be put into practice to obtain the results we want, but often we do not move on to action for a thousand reasons (time is never enough, we are always busy, we are tired ...). Your coach spurs you, pushes you to do what you decided to do. Thanks to the principle of consistency when we say to someone who will do something, the possibilities that we will really do that thing are greater than if we said nothing to anyone. Precisely for this reason, take your responsibilities in front of your coach increases the chances of really doing what you have decided to do , in this way you can achieve the results you want .

"I firmly believe that people, without coaching, cannot reach their maximum potential."

Bob Nardelli
