Mental coaching: mountain theory
Mental coaching: every effort matters. Even when it seems useless.
There is a fundamental truth: success is built from below, one stone at a time . Or as I often like to remember by recalling the world of extreme runs:
One step at a time, one meter at a time, one kilometer at a time.
There are no shortcuts, there are no miraculous tricks. Every effort, every training, every difficult decision you make today is one more stone on your personal mountain. Even when it seems that the results do not arrive, even when everything seems useless, you are building something great.
Nobody sees the mountain as it grows
I train every day, very often twice a day, not because it is simple or because I always feel motivated. But because I know that every single training, even what is wrong as I would like, adds something important. Growth is never linear. There are days when it seems to climb without coming anywhere. And it is precisely in those moments that the real difference is made: when no one applauds, when nobody observes you, when fatigue seems useless .
Mental coaching: invisible effort
Most people surrender when the results do not come immediately. I tell you: stay there. Continue to put one stone above the other. The training you make today, the care with which you prepare a meeting, the difficult choice you face rather than avoiding it ... all this accumulates. It is not just a matter of muscles and physical strength; It is a matter of mindset and mental strength. Every effort, even the apparently insignificant one, has a value over time .
The mountain is not built in one day
Observe the great athletes, the successful professionals, the leaders you admire: none of them has reached the top by chance. I work with many of them by supporting them with my mental coaching paths, and I can tell you that everyone builds their mountain with patience, determination, discipline and hard invisible work. Every effort matters, especially what nobody sees .
Mental coaching: what can you do from today?
- Choose a difficult thing every day and do it, even if it seems useless.
- Remember that perseverance beats motivation, always.
- Don't expect applause: real growth takes place when nobody looks at you.
How many stones did you put on your mountain this week?
If the answer is "few", today is the right day to start again.
